Celebrating the Triduum – the most important three days of the Church’s Liturgy and Calendar
Join us for this special Friends Day retreat during Holy Week. Fr. Gene Nickol will explore this theme during his presentations.
Our Friends Day of Prayer retreats are held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. Everyone is welcome to attend and you can drop into any month. It’s not required to attend every retreat. Everyone will gather for coffee and pastries for the first half hour. Fr. Gene will share a morning presentation, Mass will follow in the chapel, a delicious lunch, and then he will give an afternoon presentation. Free time will be offered to walk the labyrinth, spend quiet time in prayer or shop in the bookstore.
Fr. Gene Nickol previously served as senior priest at St. John’s Church in Columbia Maryland before retiring in 2018. Ordained in 1973, he also served at St. Joseph’s Fullerton, St. Agnes at Catonsville, St. Peter’s in Libertytown, Holy Trinity in Glen Burnie and Our Lady of the Fields in Millersville. He currently resides at the rectory of Queen of Peace Church in Middle River, MD.
