Whitney Houston sang, “Learning to love ourselves is the greatest love of all,” and should believe her! Self-Love (not selfish love) is the active practice of accepting, caring for and encouraging oneself. Just as plants need water, so is our need to love and be loved. We are divinely wired for connection.
In this 3-day retreat, we will explore seven segments of self-love, embrace six self-care practices known as the lifesavers based on Hal Elrod’s book The Miracle Morning, and learn the three essential components of self-compassion. Remember, we must first put on our oxygen masks before helping another.
How you love yourself is how you teach others to love you. ~Rupi Kaur
The weekend retreat will include prayer, presentation, conversation, movement, art, and heart♥️work! Please dress for comfort and bring along your favorite water bottle. Check-in begins at 4pm, dinner will be served at 6pm and the retreat will begin at 7pm.
