Aging is an inevitable part of life — if we live long enough to experience it! This retreat will consider what it might look like to age faithfully. We will be using excerpts from the book Aging Faithfully: The Holy Invitation of Growing Older by Alice Fryling. Together we’ll explore the many upsides to aging. Lunch is included. Marcia McMullin, MA, RN CBCN is a Registered Nurse who manages the Breast Centers for Carroll and Northwest Hospital. She has been a breast cancer patient navigator for over a decade and has discovered some common challenges as well as strengths in working with cancer survivors. Marcia conducts an annual overnight retreat at Bon Secours for cancer survivors which has become a major highlight of her job.
