SUMMARY:Honoring My Story - Who Do I Say I Am?
DESCRIPTION:Chimamanda Negozi Adichie says\, “When we reject the single story\, when we realize that there is never a single story…we regain a kind of paradise.” \nOur lives are not linear\, but filled with nuances\, curves\, and start and stop movements. The world can be very quick to dictate or impose its own lenses and disregard the personal stories we carry. There is power in someone’s voice; there is honor in someone’s story that represents a village that has formed them. We are more than a name\, a title\, or a circumstance. During this one-night retreat\, we will explore how we choose a story to tell that honors our identity. We will also honor how to listen without judgment to the stories shared by others. Jesus asked Peter\, “Who do you say I am?” We are invited into that same sacred question\, as we first focus on defining who we are. How one chooses to share is up to them. It may be through poetry\, drawing\, dance\, silent mime. We honor all we receive. Honoring one another’s story is a lived testimony. Guided by Rev. Sandra Dorsainvil. \nLodging and meals are included. Check-in begins at 4pm. There will be a brief welcome session at 5:30pm\, followed by dinner at 6pm. The retreat begins after dinner at 7pm on Friday and concludes at 3pm on Saturday. \nRev. Sandra Dorsainvil is an ordained minister with the American Baptist Churches\, USA. She serves as a ministry coach and women’s group retreat facilitator with the Center for Career Development & Ministry. Rev. Sandra offers ministry coaching accompaniment to clergy and BIPOC women through her private consulting agency\, CONNECT-SD\, LLC. Her bilingual abilities in English and French and experiences living in Africa\, Europe\, and North America offer a unique cross-cultural approach to clients and organizations. She has graduate degrees in pastoral ministry from Boston College and in rehabilitation counseling and psychology from Boston University. She is an ICF coach certified. She has completed Level 1 of Group Spiritual Direction and the Transforming Community program at The Shalem Institute. Rev. Sandra brings over 35 years of human services\, including mental health and disability advocacy\, group retreat facilitation\, and pastorate\, national\, and international ministry engagements. Rev. Sandra is a published author of several books in English and in Spanish. The ministry of deep listening and presence is a core element in her work\, and she makes sure participants in her retreats and one-on-one coaching sessions are seen\, heard\, and covered in prayers.

SUMMARY:Caregiver's Retreat
DESCRIPTION:This spring\, spend some intentional time in sacred community with fellow caregivers\, being reaffirmed and supported as a caregiver for someone with a long-term illness\, condition\, or disability. This retreat utilizes a lens for understanding and naming the spiritual dimension of the caregiver role and its myriad emotions and experiences and is tailored to uplift participants who may or may not provide hands-on care for their loved one\, but who are involved in their lives. Topics that will be explored are intrinsic to the caregiver journey\, especially the necessity of self-care and compassion\, burnout\, family dynamics\, grief\, and the often-conflicting emotions that accompany this reality. \nThroughout the program\, participants will be invited to engage in storytelling\, prayer/meditation\, writing\, and other contemplative exercises that validate the caregiver’s experience and provide therapeutic tools for the ongoing commitment of caregiving. The morning and afternoon sessions will envelop the themes of caregiver grief\, healing\, and hope within each participant’s respective circumstances\, while also envisioning endurance and renewal. Resources will be offered related to what is examined and for ongoing nourishment on the journey. A journal is a great companion for this program in addition to comfortable walking shoes for optional times of healing in nature. Lunch is included. Guided by Gordon Creamer. \nWe also offer an online support group for caregivers on Zoom in 2027 on January 9\, March 20\, September 18\, November 20. \nGordon Creamer\, MA\, creator of the Mission Bridge\, currently serves as Program Director at Well for the Journey\, a spiritual wellness center in Lutherville\, MD. As a creative and contemplative builder\, he has held leadership roles in healthcare programming and operations since 2001 at various assisted living\, skilled nursing\, and hospice communities. He earned a Master of Arts in Spiritual & Pastoral Care from Loyola University and a Master of Arts in Theology from the Ecumenical Institute of St. Mary’s Seminary & University. Currently\, he is a candidate for the Doctor of Ministry Program at the Ecumenical Institute. Gordon has facilitated numerous retreats and workshops that focus on creating opportunities for participants to explore and enhance their spirituality and well-being through various media and formats. He also participates as a peer group leader in the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation’s Transforming Community Program. His passions include uplifting the journey of adults\, individuals with memory impairment\, and members of the LGBTQ+ community\, as well as fostering support groups and programs for caregivers and those who are grieving losses. Trained as a spiritual director/companion\, end-of-life doula\, and Reiki practitioner\, Gordon welcomes all in discovering the spiritual life as a means of healing\, expanding\, and flourishing. SUMMARY:Friends Day of Prayer - May
DESCRIPTION:The Impact of the Eucharist in Our Lives \nRecently\, there has been a dramatic increase in the celebration of the Eucharistic presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament with processions\, periods of adoration\, and greater attendance at daily liturgies. This spiritual revival of the central aspect of the Catholic faith is remarkable and is clearly a gift from the Lord Himself. Although this retreat draws from Catholic teaching on the Eucharist\, it is open to individuals from all faith backgrounds. \nFr. James will present three reflections on the impact of the Eucharist in our lives: Jesus leads us; Jesus feeds us; Jesus heals us. It is our hope that these prayerful reflections will assist us in deepening our love for Jesus and in realizing that He is present in the Eucharist not just for our adoration\, but also to let His presence transform us so that we can bring this grace to others. Guided by Fr. James Day. \nAll are welcome to attend the Friends Day of Prayer retreats\, held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. It is not required to attend every month\, so register for one or more sessions as your schedule allows. While the presenters and topics vary\, each Friends Day of Prayer typically includes pastries and informal conversation at 9:30am\, a morning presentation at 10am\, an optional Mass\, a delicious lunch\, short periods of free time to enjoy the grounds or shop in the bookstore\, and an afternoon presentation. \nFr. James R. Day\, O.SS.T.\, is a member of the Order of the Most Holy Trinity and the Captives (Trinitarians). Fr. James has an extensive background in different aspects of ministry. He served as pastor for 18 years in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and as instructor\, counselor\, and administrator in high school ministry. Fr. James has also participated in programs of formation for men discerning a vocation to the religious life. After completing his 27-year ministry at DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville\, MD\, Fr. James now resides as sacramental minister at St. Mark Parish\, Catonsville\, MD and is a frequent presider at liturgies at Bon Secours Retreat & Conference Center.

SUMMARY:Be Still and Know
DESCRIPTION:Embodied Living Through Mindfulness and Centering Prayer \nImagine being present to your life\, to yourself\, and to those around you. Imagine being able to be with difficult emotions without being overwhelmed by them\, finding the space to pause before reacting automatically\, offering yourself more kindness and compassion\, bringing a sense of curiosity and wonder to life\, and being more aware of God’s presence. These are some of the benefits of contemplative practices such as mindfulness and centering prayer. \nMindfulness is paying attention to what is happening in the present moment\, nonjudgmentally\, and with compassion. The present moment is where we meet God. Mindfulness also helps us become more aware of the wisdom of our bodies. Paying attention to our experiences and this wisdom gives us valuable information we can use to live better. Centering prayer is resting in God’s presence in silence\, consenting to God’s presence and action within. These practices allow us to live more connected with God and to more effectively do what God is calling each of us to do\, individually and collectively. Come learn about and experience how contemplative practices can deepen your awareness of God’s presence and help you live with more authenticity and greater compassion. \nWear comfortable clothing. You may want to bring a blanket or shawl. If you have one\, please bring a yoga mat or something soft to lay on\, a cushion or pillow to sit on\, and a journal or paper. Please note\, however\, that it is not necessary to lay down or sit on the floor to participate. Lunch is included. Guided by Dr. Heather Alexander. \nHeather Alexander\, MD has a passion for encouraging and empowering people to live well by becoming more present to the moments of their lives and living with more compassion. She sees this as her way of offering peace to our world that is so in need of healing. Initially learning mindfulness to reduce stress\, she found that practicing mindfulness helped her to be more aware of God’s presence. Dr. Alexander has led workshops on practicing mindfulness for stress reduction and connecting with God\, mindfulness for parents\, and mindfulness for teens. Dr. Alexander received her undergraduate degree from Haverford College. She received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her pediatric residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington\, DC. She currently practices in Columbia\, MD. She has trained with the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. Dr. Alexander has also trained with the Mindful Schools program to teach mindfulness to children.

SUMMARY:G.P.S. for a Joyful Life
DESCRIPTION:A Day to Rediscover Gratitude\, Purpose & Peace in Every Season \nCan you imagine setting out on a long road trip with no GPS? No map\, no directions — just hoping you’ll find your way. You’d take wrong turns\, miss the exits\, arrive frazzled and late… if you arrived at all. Yet so often we navigate the bigger journey — these rich\, full\, sometimes uncertain years of life — without any map at all. We take a wrong turn into worry\, lose the road to old griefs\, and quietly wonder where the joy went. The good news? You were born with an inner GPS of your own — one that\, once you learn to switch it on\, gently guides you back to peace and quiet joy in a matter of minutes. \nIn this warm and unhurried day retreat\, Kapil Patel shares the simple\, life-tested practice he calls G.P.S. — Gratitude\, Purpose\, and Spirit — three ways to turn on your inner compass and find your way home to yourself. Kapil speaks not as someone who has it all figured out\, but as someone who lost his way and found it again. Through his own story\, the wisdom of hundreds of joyful people he has interviewed\, and time-honored\, research-backed practices\, he offers tools so simple you can carry them into tomorrow morning. \nYou don’t need to be at any particular stage of life or faith to belong here. Whatever you bring — a recent loss\, a season of change\, gratitude looking for somewhere to land\, or simply a longing for more lightness in your days — you are welcome. Together\, in a circle of kindred spirits\, the day unfolds gently: \n\nGuided Meditation & Visualization — quiet the mind and reconnect with your inner wisdom and your sense of the sacred\nMindful Movement & Breathing — simple\, accessible practices that ease tension and restore calm\, at your own pace\nSound Exercises — experience the soothing\, clarifying power of sound\nShared Reflection — share and listen in a kind\, welcoming circle\, as much or as little as you wish\n\nBy the end of the day\, you’ll know how to switch on your own inner G.P.S. — three simple practices to greet each morning with more gratitude\, a renewed sense of purpose\, and a lighter\, more joyful heart. The road ahead still has so much beauty in it. This day is about learning to see it\, feel it and embody it. Lunch is included. Guided by Kapil Patel. \nKapil Patel knows what it is to lose your way. After a successful career in technology\, he found himself burned out\, weary\, and quietly disconnected from any sense of joy or purpose. Out of that low place came a discovery that would reshape his life: happiness isn’t a luxury we earn somewhere down the road — it’s a necessity. It is available to us now\, in the ordinary moments of any day. That realization began a journey of more than twenty years spent learning what truly makes people joyful and at peace. Kapil has interviewed hundreds of deeply content people from every walk of life — from CEOs to barbers — and trained extensively in Emotional Intelligence. From all he gathered\, he created a simple practice he calls the G.P.S. for Happiness™ — Gratitude\, Purpose\, and Spirit — to help people switch on their own inner compass and find their way back to joy. He is also the co-author of a book on leadership with the legendary Brian Tracy. Kapil believes that anyone can build a fulfilling life\, regardless of background or season — and he shares his message with humility\, warmth\, and a good deal of laughter\, inviting people to Think\, Act\, Learn\, and Laugh. His mission is to help others rediscover the joy that has been with them all along.

SUMMARY:Quiet Mornings - In Person Session
DESCRIPTION:Quiet Mornings sessions are currently being held IN-PERSON on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. \n(It is also held virtually on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday. Every virtual session is held from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.)\nPlease email Joanne at jmcahooneph3@gmail.com for the Zoom sessions invitation for Virtual sessions. \nQuiet mornings provide an opportunity for quiet – for reflection\, prayer\, listening\, presence – in common with others. Perhaps you’d like to carve out time\, but could use the support of a structure that is also flexible? Most of us could! And there is encouragement and strength in coming together in this way. You are welcome whenever matches your schedule/desire/need. \nEach gathering is bracketed by an opening and closing prayer. The quiet hour at its heart is not scripted or guided. Each one enters the quiet and utilizes or follows it as she/he desires to do so. Some opt to journal\, read\, walk; to engage in meditation; imaginative prayer or centering prayer; art or collage; or physical movement. The commitment to enter the quiet with some regularity as an ongoing practice is the point. By doing so in companionship with others\, we support each other’s journey just by willingly being present in God’s presence together\, and hoping good for each other. In our closing prayer\, we pray a blessing for each other. Please feel welcome! Guided by Joanne Cahoon. \nJoanne Cahoon\, D.Min. – spiritual director\, retreat leader\, coach – facilitates the Quiet Mornings.

SUMMARY:In-Person Centering Prayer Session
DESCRIPTION:Held IN PERSON on the: \n\n2nd and 5th Tuesdays of the month\, 1-2pm and\n4th Tuesday of the month\, 7-8pm.\n\nFor these in-person sessions\, registration is required in advance\, preferably by the Monday before each in-person session.  \n(Virtual Zoom sessions will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 1-2pm. Register for Virtual Sessions by emailing facilitator Amy Sorensen Kulesa at kulesa.neshama@gmail.com.) \nCentering prayer is a form of Christian contemplative prayer in which one abides in the presence of God in interior silence. Centering Prayer emphasizes the indwelling presence of the Holy Trinity within and among us\, and our openness\, through receptive silence and restful surrender\, to God’s action and healing grace. For our one-hour sessions\, we will gather to pray together in silence\, attentive to the stillness within\, and reflect together on readings related to our prayer life. The sessions are relaxed and informal. You are invited to dress comfortably and use a meditation cushion if you would like. \nFacilitation for each Centering Prayer session will be led by an experienced member of the group. We follow a consistent format from week to week\, with variability each session in the reflective reading that is shared. Though sponsored by the Retreat Center\, Centering Prayer is a member-supported prayer community.

SUMMARY:Peace Be Still Retreat
DESCRIPTION:“Peace be still; Peace be with you; Peace\, I leave you\, my peace I give you.” We have heard these verses a million times. We quote these words and tell friends when they need to hear them. However\, do we REALLY think about how deeply healing these words are? We want peace\, we search for peace…yet somehow it eludes us. We want others to believe we are peaceful\, we have it all together\, or we have enough faith to be at peace. We don’t want to admit that we question\, “Lord\, where is this peace?” \nJoin us as we explore pathways to true inner peace. What better place to do so than the beautiful grounds of Bon Secours? Together\, we will learn how those who came before us found peace\, discover ways to cultivate a life of peace\, and explore spiritual practices and devotions that can help nurture a peaceful spirit. \nThis retreat is for all ages and stages of life. Perhaps you are a young mother juggling countless responsibilities\, recently retired and discerning what comes next\, or navigating one of life’s many challenges — illness\, loneliness\, loss\, or uncertainty. Whatever your circumstances\, you are invited to come and discover your own personal journey to peace. \nThroughout the weekend\, we will engage in short presentations\, group activities\, self-reflection\, and quiet time for contemplation. As part of the retreat\, we will create an acrylic painting together — absolutely no artistic skill is necessary. This guided\, peaceful painting experience will be offered in a relaxed “paint and sip” style. You will take your painting home with you\, and it is my hope that it will serve as a lasting reminder that the spirit of peace is always with you\, quietly whispering\, “Peace\, be still.” Guided by Susan Warnick Breslin. \nLodging and meals are included. Check-in begins at 4pm. There will be a brief welcome session at 5:30pm\, followed by dinner at 6pm. The retreat begins after dinner at 7pm on Friday and concludes after lunch at 1pm on Sunday. Mass will be available Sunday morning for those who wish to attend. \nSusan Warnick Breslin\, MSN\, RN\, CPN\, CSD is a graduate of the Bon Secours Spiritual Direction Institute and an associate of Bon Secours. Susan has been a pediatric nurse caring for children with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries for 40 years. She now is a nursing professor at Johns Hopkins and Anne Arundel Community College. Her career began working with Dr. Benjamin Carson at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. She was profoundly affected by what she experienced there and in her personal life. Demonstrating compassion\, concern\, and understanding became her motivation for remaining in an emotionally draining specialty for so many years. Susan knew she could not change the situation but focused on easing the emotional and physical toll on these families any way she could\, listening to them and offering them peace. She has facilitated support groups for parents of children with brain tumors\, young widows\, care givers\, and bereavement. Through these experiences\, she felt called to become a spiritual director. She now sees clients through her Soul Friend Ministry\, where her focus is on spiritual peace in all phases of life. She guides clients to practice peace and forgiveness through surrender\, detachment\, faith\, and assurance through Our Lord\, The Prince of Peace. She is also co-founder of The Von-Hippel Lindau Alliance\, an organization dedicated to the diagnosis\, treatment\, and quality of life for individuals affected by Von-Hippel Lindau disease.

SUMMARY:Grief Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The Revolution of Openness: Experiencing Grief and Loss in a New Era \nThe concept of grieving the loss of loved ones as a journey allows human beings to understand the healing process in stages\, with accompanying tasks\, and with needs that are both universal and unique. Yet there are many faces to grief and many ways of expressing it. Living in a post pandemic world\, grieving as we know it has changed in innumerable ways. As we continue to emerge and move into this new era of living\, our experiences of loss\, change\, and transitions — both as individuals and in communities — have been incredibly impacted. This compels us to intentionally recognize our emotions and reflect upon our experiences to heal and move forward in empowered ways. And\, in solidarity with each other\, we can bravely make steps toward openness to the powerful transformation these losses and our grief work can lead us to. \nJoin us for this one-day retreat as we gather together for deep listening\, meaningful dialogue\, and other contemplative exercises as a means of expressing our grief. Various resources will be offered to uplift participants on their journey as they consider their respective stories. Additionally\, opportunities for considering some of the sacred tasks inherent to grieving the loss of loved ones and other significant transitions will be included. Please bring along a journal for use during the retreat. Lunch is included. Guided by Gordon Creamer. \nGordon Creamer\, MA\, creator of the Mission Bridge\, currently serves as Program Director at Well for the Journey\, a spiritual wellness center in Lutherville\, MD. As a contemplative theologian and creative builder\, he has held leadership roles in healthcare programming and operations since 2001 at various assisted living\, skilled nursing\, and hospice communities.

SUMMARY:Silent Directed Retreat - June 2027
DESCRIPTION:A silent directed retreat provides an opportunity for individuals to spend dedicated time with God and is a rich means of being open to God’s grace and love. Unlike a conference or guided retreat\, there are not group sessions or daily presentations. Instead\, the ‘content’ of the retreat is your own ongoing relationship with God. Individuals meet daily with a spiritual director\, whose aim is to collaborate with the work of the Spirit as together you reflect on God’s presence and movement in your life. Spiritual directors may make suggestions related to your conversations (prayer forms\, Scripture\, reading materials\, quotes\, questions\, wonderings) to support and deepen your experience and awareness of God with you. The rhythm of the day is decided by each individual and may include walks\, reading\, writing\, art-making\, mindful movement\, liturgy\, etc. The Retreat Center affords plenty of places and spaces for prayer\, with beauty abounding. We come to directed retreats as individuals and as part of a community of others who are also seeking and listening. This spiritual community joins you in silence\, offering support by being prayerfully aware of all the individual journeys\, gifts\, and needs to which God is attending. \nThis is a silent retreat. Check-in begins at 4pm on Friday\, and the retreat will begin with an orientation session at 5pm. Silence will begin after dinner. The retreat will end after lunch on Thursday. Mass will be available each day. Lodging and meals are included. \nPlease indicate your preference for a spiritual director in the “Special Needs” part of the online registration form. \n  \nFr. Patrick Bergquist\, M.Div.\, MFA.\, MATW — after nearly twenty years as a missionary priest along the Yukon River of Northern Alaska ؅— has turned to look into a wilderness far less charted\, but far more wondrous — that of the human heart and soul. Now a retired priest of the Missionary Diocese of Northern Alaska\, Fairbanks\, he spends his time as a spiritual and retreat director. He holds master’s degrees in Divinity\, Creative Writing\, and Theopoetics\, as well as two certificates in spiritual direction\, including the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. As a writer\, a poet\, and a priest\, he’s written for publications such as Spiritual Life and America Magazine\, as well as authoring a book\, The Long Dark Winter’s Night: Reflections of a Priest in a Time of Pain and Privilege. He is currently working on a spiritual memoir called Springtime Beneath the Snows: Confessions of a Priest-Turn-Poet. \nJoanne Cahoon\, D.Min. holds a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies\, master’s degree in Religion/Pastoral Ministry\, graduate certificates in spiritual direction and in spirituality studies\, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago\, where her specialization was spirituality and practical theology. Along the way\, Joanne has taught in elementary\, secondary\, undergraduate\, and graduate school settings. She has also served as youth minister\, high school campus minister\, consultant\, writer\, national trainer\, diocesan staff member\, staff member of a graduate school\, spiritual director\, facilitator of retreats\, and professional coach. Joanne has welcomed and worked with many individuals and groups\, serving them as they listen for God’s invitations in their personal and corporate lives. She finds it a privilege to be involved in spiritual and human formation — bringing deep listening\, presence\, creativity\, and a commitment to her own ongoing formation to her work. \nAmy Sorensen Kulesa\, OFS\, M.Div.\, MSW is a spiritual director\, retreat leader and certified Introspective Breathwork™ facilitator. She earned a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. She is a graduate of the Epiphany Academy of Formative Spirituality\, the Bon Secours Spiritual Direction Institute\, and One Breath Institute. Immersed in both the Bon Secours and Franciscan charisms\, Amy enjoys facilitating retreats in which participants have the opportunity to discern the narrative of their own lives within the larger story of God’s abundant healing\, grace\, and mercy. \nTwo other directors TBD – please check back soon

SUMMARY:RECEIVE: The Freedom to Be
DESCRIPTION:This Juneteenth retreat is an immersive wellness experience centered on freedom\, embodiment\, joy\, and the radical practice of receiving. We will explore what it means to create a life where freedom isn’t simply something we talk about — it is something we can feel in our bodies. Through intentional learning\, storytelling\, mindfulness\, meditation\, music\, contemplative practice\, journaling\, and sound\, we will create space to consider what we are ready to release and what we are finally ready to receive. You will be invited to slow down. To breathe. To listen inward. To honor where you’ve come from. And to imagine what becomes possible when you no longer have to live in constant readiness\, responsibility\, or resistance. \nEXPLORE: What does freedom mean to you now? \nHONOR: Connect with ancestral wisdom\, resilience\, history\, and the people and experiences that have shaped us. \nRELEASE: Identify expectations\, roles\, beliefs\, and burdens that no longer need to come with you. \nEMBODY: Use breath\, mindfulness\, movement\, music\, and sensory experiences to reconnect with your body. \nRECEIVE: Practice allowing yourself to receive rest\, care\, beauty\, joy\, support\, and pleasure without earning it first. \nBE: Close with meditation and a resonant sound bath designed to support deep relaxation and nervous system renewal. \nIT IS TIME TO RECEIVE! What if freedom wasn’t something you had to fight for today? What if\, for a few hours\, you could simply experience it? Freedom to breathe. Freedom to soften. Freedom to receive. Freedom to take up space. Freedom to be. Come rest. Come restore. Come receive. Come home to yourself. Lunch is included. Guided by Teara Booker. \nTeara Booker\, MPH\, CD\, E-RYT 300 is a seasoned wellness practitioner and maternal health expert with over 20 years of experience in public and maternal health. She holds degrees in health\, dispute resolution\, and behavioral management and is extensively trained and certified in a variety of movement and restorative practices. Teara has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and communities through education\, empowerment\, and holistic wellness\, blending her deep understanding of health with evidence-based practices and intuitive guidance. A passionate interdisciplinary educator\, Teara is trained in Ashtanga\, Yin\, Vinyasa\, Restorative Yoga\, and Yoga Nidra\, creating workshops that cultivate mindfulness\, healing\, and self-awareness. Her approach integrates movement\, meditation\, and somatic practices to help participants connect with their bodies\, release tension\, and nurture overall well-being. Through her workshops\, Teara inspires individuals to embrace balance\, cultivate resilience\, and harness their inner strength for lasting wellness.

SUMMARY:Silent Directed Retreat - July 2027
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: There is a MISPRINT in Bridges for this retreat. Bridges has correct dates but incorrectly says the retreat is from Friday – Thursday. Correct dates are SUNDAY\, July 11 – SATURDAY\, July 17. Our apologies for the error.\nA silent directed retreat provides an opportunity for individuals to spend dedicated time with God and is a rich means of being open to God’s grace and love. Check-in begins at 4pm on SUNDAY\, and the retreat will begin with an orientation session at 5pm. Silence will begin after dinner. The retreat will end after lunch on Saturday. Mass will be available each day. Lodging and meals are included. \nPlease indicate your preference for a spiritual director in the “Special Needs” part of the online registration form. \nFour other directors TBD – please check back soon.
