We’ve mentioned before the wonderful book published by Nature Sacred, Bench Talk: Wisdoms Inspired by Nature, the wonderful collection of reflections from sacred spaces across the country. Nature Sacred installed our labyrinth in 1999 and has lovingly built over 100 green spaces to encourage people to find peace, tranquility, and well-being in the midst of busy lives.
Each sacred space has a blank notebook, where visitors can leave their reflections and thoughts. Last year, Nature Sacred created a book sharing some of the most powerful messages left in these notebooks. Today, we are sharing one with you that was written at the Brenton Arboretum in Dallas Center, Iowa.
I live an extremely busy life, sometimes I forget the real reason we’re here. To have fun, be in love, and enjoy the little things. The beauty, peacefulness, and serenity of this place has helped me remember that. To any who read this, I wish you blessings and that you can enjoy this as much as I do.
