He is Risen

Apr 5, 2026

Easter is the heart of our faith, a powerful reminder that love conquers death and hope is alive in Jesus Christ. Through His sacrifice on the cross, we are shown a love that knows no limits, and through His resurrection, we are given the promise of new life.

On the cross, Jesus gave everything. He entered fully into human suffering—pain, betrayal, abandonment, and even death itself. Not because He had to, but because He chose to.
He chose love.

In His sacrifice, we encounter a love that does not turn away, even in the face of unimaginable suffering. It is a love that meets us in our brokenness, our sin, and our wounds and does not leave us there. The cross reminds us that we are known, we are seen, and we are deeply loved beyond measure.

And then, the stone is rolled away.

The empty tomb proclaims a truth that still speaks today: darkness does not win. Because He lives, we are never without hope. Resurrection is not only something we celebrate, it is something we are invited to live.

Easter calls each of us to rise, to step out of fear, grief, or doubt and trust that God is making all things new. Whatever we carry, the resurrection meets us there with grace, healing, and renewal.

We are reminded that Easter is not just remembered, it is lived. Christ is risen, and His light is still breaking into our lives today.

He is risen. He is risen indeed.

Happy Easter from the Bon Secours Retreat & Conference Center!
