Images and Words: The Wisdom of Nature

Every season has its own gifts — both in the natural world and in our own lives. In this workshop, we will use guided meditation, journaling, and an outdoor contemplative photography walk to explore the gifts we are being offered in this moment. A small journal for you to keep will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. You will also need a camera — your cell phone is fine. No previous art, writing, or photography experience is required. All are welcome. The same program will be offered in the Morning Session and the Afternoon Session. Guided by Michelle Lisenbee.

Note: This registration page is for the Afternoon Session. If you prefer the Morning Session, please register here.

This workshop is offered as part of a day of Weekday Workshops. Build your own retreat day by selecting one or more of the following: morning workshop (saints, creative, or yoga), lunch, and afternoon workshop (saints, creative, or yoga). Browse the retreat section of our website to find details about all of the workshop options, and register separately for each time slot.

Michelle Lisenbee, RN, BSN, HNB-BC, LMT is a Holistic Registered Nurse, a Board-Certified Licensed Massage Therapist, and mixed media collage artist from Savage, Maryland. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from George Mason University, her massage training at the Baltimore School of Massage, and her Board Certification from the American Holistic Nurses Association. Her training has included various bodywork and holistic therapies over the years. Michelle is also a self-taught mixed media artist who believes that connection is where healing happens. Exploring ways to cultivate space for connection both in her own life and the lives of others is her calling, and she is currently developing her own healing arts practice.

This retreat is being held very soon!
