The potential of consciously utilizing the breath for healing is both an ancient and burgeoning healing modality. Breath is a constant in every moment of our lives, from birth to death. Each breath both expresses and impacts the way we experience and process the events of our lives, as a bridge between our physical bodies and consciousness. Modern neuroscience has demonstrated the efficacy of ancient breath practices in various religious traditions, in supporting self-regulation of our nervous system as an embodied pathway of transformation, and as a means of healing and integration of our mind-body-spirit human experience.
During this retreat day, participants will learn more about the rich background of therapeutic breathwork as they experience two sessions of a form of conscious connected breathwork called Introspective Breathwork™, facilitated by certified Introspective Breathwork facilitator Amy Kulesa. Come and spiritually explore this gentle but powerful method of becoming compassionately present to yourself. Through the breath, you are invited to become more fully aware of the richness of your inner life and to experience that God is as close to you as your own breath. Lunch is included. Guided by Amy Sorensen Kulesa.
