As we reflect on Jesus’ suffering leading to his death, we do not always consider how brutal his treatment was, and sadly, we often sanitize what he went through. But the brutality of crucifixion as a means of capital punishment should not escape our devotional life during Lent, especially during Holy Week. In this retreat, Dr. Fosarelli, a physician and theologian, will help attendees better understand and appreciate all that Jesus endured during the last hours of his life, considering his suffering from physical, emotional, and spiritual perspectives. Ideally, attendees’ experience of Holy Week 2025 might be more profound and deeply reflective due to these comprehensive insights. Lunch is included. Guided by Dr. Pat Fosarelli.
