Presenter: Paula D’Arcy

Poet John O’Donohue writes about the courage it can take to live life fully. This is something we all understand. Still, there is an old wisdom which teaches that as the heart deepens in love, hundreds of doors swing open. Join Paula D’Arcy for this opportunity to explore living beyond the love you’ve learned.

Check-in begins at 4pm. There will be a brief welcome session at 5:30pm, followed by dinner at 6pm. The retreat begins after dinner at 7pm on Friday and concludes before lunch on Sunday. Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel on Sunday morning for those who would like to attend.

Paula D’Arcy is a writer, playwright, retreat leader, seminar speaker, and author of 13 books. In 2001, she established Red Bird Foundation, which supports the growth and spiritual development of those in need throughout the world, including men and women in prison. The foundation has sponsored two international gatherings of women known as WOMENSPEAK, conferences which honor the woman’s voice as a force of peace and healing for the world. A former psychotherapist, Paula survived the loss of her husband and young daughter in an accident in 1975. She was three months pregnant at the time. Since then, Paula has written many best-selling books, including Gift of the Red Bird, Sacred Threshold, Waking Up to This Day, Stars at Night and Winter of the Heart.
