Like a flame my hope is burning,
May my song arise to you:
Source of life that has no ending,
On life’s path I trust in you.
~ Hymn for the Jubilee Year 2025: Pilgrims of Hope
In this day retreat, we will mark the transition from Lent into Holy Week by focusing on the hope that guided Jesus and his followers into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. Hope is trusting that God’s love is with us as we rejoice and as we mourn; as we rest and as we toil; as we end and as we begin anew. We will spend our retreat exploring prayer practices that help us reflect on the Lent we have made and the Easter season that opens before us. The day will include opportunities for silent reflection and time for group conversations. Lunch is included. Guided by Linda Mastro.
