A Quiet Day at Bon Secours
As we move into the new year and a new season in the life of the church and of the nation, we gather to explore what it means to live in hope. Alternating spoken meditations with periods of corporate silence, we will reflect prayerfully on what it means to live in hope, even in times of challenge. We may wonder: What is the connection between hope and the other core virtues of faith that guide our Christian lives? What gets in the way of living in hope? How might we help each other to live lives of hope more deeply, and what might that look like in our individual lives and in our common life together?
Times of silence throughout the day will be interspersed with guided meditations, poetry, Scripture and music. This retreat includes lunch in silence. Guided by Dr. Kathleen Henderson Staudt.
