Immerse yourself in a weekend of exploring your intuition and imagination through collage making. The SoulCollage® process invites you to browse through piles of images and magazines to find pictures which call to you. Create or expand upon your visual journal through your personal deck of collaged cards. With SoulCollage® cards, you can illustrate your lived experiences, personality parts, companions and supports, archetypal patterns, and spiritual guides. Insights emerge as you engage in “stepping into” imagery and speaking from it in a safe and supportive community of fellow collage-creators.
This retreat is open to those just beginning to work with SoulCollage®, as well as to those experienced in using it. Instruction on the concepts and structure of the SoulCollage® technique will be provided, while those who are already familiar with it can expand their work with collage. Roberta customizes her annual retreats with a theme that offers a further deepening of the SoulCollage® experience. Ample time will be provided for self and soul-tending through labyrinth walks, mindful relaxation, and exploration of the beautiful grounds of the Retreat Center. Connect with the vibrancy and renewal of the spring/summer season by “watering your soul” with SoulCollage®! Guided by Roberta Rook.
Check-in begins at 4pm. There will be a brief welcome session at 5:30pm, followed by dinner at 6pm. The retreat begins after dinner at 7pm on Friday and concludes before lunch on Sunday. Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel on Sunday morning for those who would like to attend.
