The SoulCollage® paradigm was created by the late psychologist, Seena B. Frost, as an engaging intuitive collaging process that uses images to explore and depict the inner workings of your own conscious and subconscious mind, as well as the opportunity to explore the many aspects of your strengths, shadows, and archetypal influences. Through the SoulCollage® process, you can capture the metaphors that describe your own life journey, your feelings about the surrounding world, and the people, animals and spirits that impact your life. In other words, there are endless possibilities for inspiration when creating SoulCollage® cards!
You do not need to be an artist or have artistic skills to be successful in creating SoulCollage® cards. Using printed images from magazines, we will come together to make many SoulCollage® cards during the retreat weekend. All supplies will be provided, except for scissors! Please bring a pair of sharp crafting scissors and arrive ready to enjoy cutting and pasting. If you have any images that you have personally collected and would like to use, please feel free to bring them, but there will be plenty of magazines on hand to pull from.
Check-in begins at 4pm. There will be a brief welcome session at 5:30pm, followed by dinner at 6pm. The retreat begins after dinner at 7pm on Friday and concludes before lunch on Sunday. Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel on Sunday morning for those who would like to attend.
The retreat will be led by Annette Laugel, LCPC, LMT, who has been a SoulCollage® facilitator since 2012. She is an integrative psychotherapist and a holistic bodyworker in private practice in the Baltimore area.
