Embodiment and Healing
In this weekend experiential retreat, participants will be invited into a profound and intimate encounter with the many dimensions of our personal and communal relationship with life through conscious breathing. Together, we will explore traditions of breathwork and the emerging scientific understanding supporting breathwork’s healing potential. Throughout the weekend, in large group, dyadic, and individual somatic and breathwork experiences, we will come to see and feel how conscious breathing can be a catalyst for profound integration of body, heart, mind, and spirit. Participants will be asked to sign a release form, but all ages and physical abilities are welcomed and can be accommodated to the activities of the weekend. Come and encounter your own depths and the preciousness of who you are, breath by breath. Guided by Michael Breslin and Amy Sorensen Kulesa.
Meals and lodging are included. Check-in begins at 4pm. There will be a brief welcome session at 5:30pm, followed by dinner at 6pm. The retreat begins after dinner at 7pm on Friday and concludes after lunch at 1pm on Sunday. Mass will be available Sunday morning for those who wish to attend.
Michael Breslin, GPBA is a Certified Breathwork Practitioner. Drawing upon over 25 years of immersion in the healing arts community, Michael is dedicated to co-creating safe and expansive space for people to experience themselves as fundamentally whole participants in life, love, and creativity. Trained at Inspiration Consciousness School and certified, with distinction, at the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, he facilitates Breathwork sessions that are powerful, gentle, and responsive to the emergent qualities of Essence that arise in each moment. Integrative Breathwork is a powerful modality for experiencing the physical, emotional, and cognitive reality of our deep yearning to be authentically real. In his individual and group sessions, he guides participants to experience the breath as a doorway to optimal wellness, truth, and presence. He believes that breathing consciously allows us to experience the transcendent quality of the ordinary and the deep-felt sense that everyday experience is inherently abundant with Life Force.
