Cultivating and Nurturing Our Self-Care as Spiritual Directors
As spiritual caregivers, it is important for spiritual directors to nurture a quality of wholeness in ourselves that we encourage in those to whom we minister. This continuing education morning will offer spiritual directors an opportunity to reflect on areas of personal need for self-care and restoration. We will explore together the ways stress can encroach on our lives and ministries and then look at practical ways to strengthen our compassionate presence to ourselves by practices that promote healing and spiritual balance. The morning will include an experiential Introspective Breathwork™ session as an opportunity for both personal relaxation and to demonstrate the efficacy of embodied healing practices in the ministry of spiritual direction. This Zoom presentation will include an opportunity for questions and discussion. Facilitated by Amy Sorensen Kulesa.
This is a virtual program, open to all spiritual directors. A Zoom Meeting link will be emailed to registered participants by Friday, September 5, 2025. When registering, please be sure to include the correct email address to which the Zoom link should be sent.
