Live, Move, and Have Our Being in Him

There are moments when I notice how easily I forget.

Not in a dramatic way — but in the quiet pace of life. The rushing. The doing. The tending to what’s next. Somewhere along the way, I lose awareness of what has always been true: that I am already held.

Scripture reminds us that “in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). Yet how often do we live as though everything depends on us?

For me, returning to this truth is less about striving and more about noticing.

Noticing the breath that comes without effort.
Noticing the body that carries me.
Noticing the invitation to slow down and remember.

God is not distant. He is present — nearer than our next breath.

And so I return.
From distraction to presence.
From pressure to peace.
From self-reliance to surrender.

Perhaps today offers a simple invitation:

To pause.
To notice.
To remember —

That even now, we are living, moving, and being held in Him.
