Meet Mother Cabrini
“One small gesture of love can change everything.” —Mother Cabrini
Come meet St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, also known as Mother Cabrini, the patron saint of immigrants. Hear her story of being sent to New York City in 1889 by Pope Leo XIII to work with the Italian immigrants, where she found disease, crime, and impoverished children — but never gave up on anyone. Mother Cabrini said, “I will go anywhere and do anything in order to communicate the love of Jesus to those who do not know Him or have forgotten Him!” Join us and be inspired by her courage, perseverance, and great love for all. Since stories bind us all as one, feel welcome to bring a story of your own ancestor immigrants to share, if you’d like.

Rebecca Quinn is a mother of four and a grandmother of five and was a former Secular Discalced Carmelite. She loves to act and was with The Women of the Bible, Alive production for years. Her mission now is to portray women saints and mystics. By enacting and telling their stories, she believes our stories will be transformed.
